Diversity Contexts in Teacher Education (DiCoT)
The project ‘Diversity in Teacher Education’ (DiCoT) aims to internationalize the University’s teacher training degree programs. The Faculty of Education’s DAAD-funded cooperation project with the ZLH focuses on integrating school internships abroad and internationalization at home within the orientation internship module, which is scheduled for the third semester. The ZLH is primarily involved in the conception of e-DO!, the electronic DiCoT organizer. e-DO! was designed to provide digital support to students during their internship and to encourage students to reflect on their internship experiences at schools abroad. The electronic DiCoT organizer replaces the concurrent courses within the internship of those students who complete their orientation internship abroad but can also be used for students doing their internship at a school in Hamburg within the internationalization at home framework. The concept of e-DO! is framed by the anti-bias approach.
